But the real question is, how many Afrikaners in this poll can "langarm"? Anybody can braai, eat stywe pap, drink brandy en coke, or have ancestry from Jan van Riebeek. Ek vra maar net ... :whistling:

Is it classed as braai if you use a gas braai on your balcony  ?

Gas braais only allowed if you're in a different country. As it is I get skewe looks when I use charcoal.

nodafok*I think that would be classified as a barbecue. Have you ever seen the Americans on tv braai? Couple of viennas/burger patties on an open flame. Flippen sad hey.

I live in a predominantly German town. I dont think there's even 1 English person living in my street. Even the school is called a Schule. Most times at the shops I dont hear English being spoken at all.

Interesting

What is the road like to Wartburg from PMB side and from the tongaat side?

Looking for somewhere to stay for the comrades start that's a bit closer to PMB than Umhlanga and that still MIGHT have accommodation, might be an option to look there if the roads are ok?

we are 40k from pmburg with perfect roads there. Umhlanga is accessible via Tongaat but potholes in a few sections. Der Hof is a local 4 star hotel but my neighbour is a lovely German lady who has a b&b. Let me know if you want details.

Swiss.. rode from Wartburg or greytown to tongaat is ghastly. Rural and hilly.. Pretty much like riding through valley of a thousand hills for 100km... PMb side is fine

Thanks...do u have an idea how long it would take from Wartburg to PMB centre in the early hours of the morning in the dark?
