Okay byt vas.. the Methodist call the Reverend's house a manse (spelling?)

A Parish would be the local church.. which would include all the members and so on.. so like the Klerkdsorp parish, like a branch lol. I think the catholics use that term. Donno I am tired of thinking now.

Now that I think back, I used to be erg pa vas and my dad was a stewart in the church and I used to go with him before the service and remember clearky stealing some communion bread while they where praying. Shh dont tell anyone

So many of us saffas are mixed breeds.

 

My mother's great grandparents (both sides) were from Ireland. My dad from Italy, my husbands father from the UK, his grandfather on the other side from Aus.. so ja.. die arme kinders.

Konsestorie.. isn't that where the dominee and his gang go to drink the wine before the service.

 

Thank The Lord for dutchman preachers. Where I'm from I would have assumed it was the place priests go to fiddle with choirboys before the service.
