Looking at the course walk there are some pretty technical/rocky climbs

+1 on that, but for how long up the climbs will he actually be seated on his steed?

Who do you guys think is going to take the WC jersey this year? I think my money would be on Absalon or Fumic.

I think its has something to do with the tour he went on and his bad luck in Maritzburg.

I like Nino, but if he does something special tomorrow ill consider him again. I think Absalon is upping his game a little so we'll see...

It's quite a technical course tomorrow, jumps, rock gardens etc. It's just making me think about my previous post about Nino again...

Absalon is looking in sublime form.. He is lean and mean.. Apparently did some intense training over winter

Hermida has always run bar ends. Apparently just used to riding with them.

 

Not sure why the special mention re Kulhavys low front end. Hermida and Absalom have similar. 38T... Respect! But that saddle?... Dodgey. Reckon he needs bigger frame too - that seatpost must be about 600mm long.

 

XTR looks really fugly in 2x setup. Looks ok in 1x setup with the bolt caps missing.

What the heck is up with Kulhavys cranks?

 

Looks like he is running the X1 1000 series AL which are the cheapest in the range, Fat Bike compatible and 180g heavier that the XX1 model.

 

All I can think of is field testing as they aren't available yet.
