So I made a even worse decision and bought a HD Breakout 🫣 But I’m now on the bike I should’ve also bough. R1250GS Adventure. It took me 5 other bike to realize this is just simply riding bliss. Spokey Posted February 12, 2023 Share Just spent a small fortune on a solar installation at my pad, if not for that, one of these would have joined the 1098 in the bike garage! TheoG, WaynejG, Hairy and 3 others 5

Spokey Posted February 12, 2023 Share Well, enough of the dreaming. Any recommendations for someone who does good motor cycle paint work, from George to Cape Town preferably.

sawystertrance Posted February 13, 2023 Share Funny, I'm reading this on my phone and while scrolling down through the photos I thought it reminded me of the Rocket 3. Then I got to your comment. So we agree. It would be a difficult choice for sure. Both would cause pain in the pocket and the Ducati perhaps more so.

Watching a review on the Rocket 3 last night, the fact that it is shaft driven made it so much more desirable to me .... life is too short to worry about cleaning and lubing chains (MTB and commuting has given me a huge disdain for these tasks) EDIT: This is what I liked about the following bikes Moto Guzzi V85 TT = shaft drive Rocket 3 = shaft drive GS 1200 (Or whatever other cc) = shaft drive BMW R18 = shaft drive Just about every single Harley = belt drive Edited February 13, 2023 by Hairy swingTOpeddle
