That moment when you quickly want to send two smses - one to your wife to tell her you miss her, and the other to a Hubber you have never met to tell him his trainer is on the way - AND THEN YOU SWAP THEM AROUND

That moment you finish your first 94.7 … and it only took you 10 minutes longer than planned … (with the help of my husband who pushed me all the way up Steyn City).  Awesome feeling!!  :clap:

That moment when you play with your new Garmin Edge at the start and set the max heart as a percentage and its too low and the thing beeps the whole 50km race when your heart goes above 140.

That moment when you swing your leg over your bike in the start blocks and you realise you still have your flip flops on :wacko:

 

That moment when you hit the downhill on the first stage of the Kremetart and you realise you didn't hook the brake cable of the tandem back in after fitting the back wheel earlier :eek:

That moment you doing a particular tough ride and you realize that a few years ago you would not be able to do the first climb let alone the ride....

 

 

and you feel all the training you have done...... ever, was to do this ride and be fit enough to enjoy it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with bunny hopping your road bike :whistling:

Agreed, I have done quite a bit of offroad on my road bike. I have even done the road to Eenzaamheid round to the Animal Zone.

When you are in the air launching of a drop, a gust of wind from the side grabs hold of the bike and you know this will not end well.. . .
