Yes. There is and have done it...making a course that I can ride on the Ipad. PS I am also on the Ipad version.

So here is what you do...

Do the ride and capture the data(GPX and or video)

Then...download desktop version of virtual training

Create route from data and sync with video and upload to cloud.

After about 2 days, the route you created will appear on the map on ipad version

Here is the kicker, you dont need a license to create routes on the desktop version, the free version works perfect for this.

I really hope this works. Do you mean create the route and then "upload to internet"?

Netso...have done it before...so not hearsay. Easy as pie. And because we have a man on the inside...he can even fast track your route to be checked quicker instead of the usual 2-3days to confirm.

So, is this a published route or will it remain within my "cloud"? I'll record my ride the weekend and give it a go! Might still be a LARGE file to upload.

Thank you!! Feel better about my purchase :D ...

Once you have uploaded it and its available it will be for everyone's benefit...so not only for you.

No probs meneer, you bought the right trainer, don't doubt that.

I have a friend on VT. Not sure what to do with it, BUT I have a friend...

For some reason, I don't see my rankings on the route I do. Any reason for that? besides not making the top 100...

Maybe you used "training" mode. It only records "racing" mode.

There is the difference. This is sold before it is available. The "other" brand is still gathering dust...

I gave up, trying the stoopid offers I got, it can rust away,

Have a route on GPS that you "washing machines" might enjoy......approximately 32km with some surprise intervals of 1km long climbing (50-80m) .........most probably a walk (oooops - time trial sprint) for most of you.

How does one submit your "sweat and pain experience" for you to enjoy and chuckle at?

(Sorry if this has been discussed before.....too many pages and tonight I am just plain rustig)

Powerbeam set up question:

1. The paperwork that came with my powerbeam said the resistance unit should be tightened to 2 Clicks and the online video says 1 click.... there is quite a difference between 2 and 1 click

Which do you guys use? Yesterday I did a manual ride with 1 click and it felt good to me, 2 clicks I did not try but it seems to me that its really pressing into the tyre to much.

2. How do you submit a route for a potential race, I downloaded 2 rides direct from my garmin which now appear in my "training diary", how do I get them "certified" and available for a future race?

I use 2 clicks on a MTB. Haven't tried 1 to be honest. When I uploaded a route I could see it as an option when I searched for it and could see it as a route to choose. Can't remember having to do something special but I'm sure the experts will advise shortly!
