Arrival

Fences

Hacksaw Ridge

Hell or High Water

Hidden Figures

La La Land

Lion

Manchester by the Sea

Moonlight

Saw 'Arrival' last night and it f**king blew me away. Truly captivating, edge of my seat Sci-fi intrigue. That being said, 'Hacksaw Ridge' is still my front runner for Best Picture this year. Will knock another two off the list this weekend. Gotta love Ster Kinekor Nouveau screenings.

Arrival was awesome

Casting was so good too

Everything about it just sucked me in from casting to the atmosphere and the Heptopod design and who doesnt love a good time paradox. Need a copy of the short story it was based on.

The Founder (2016) 8/10. I never thought I would end up watching a biopic about McDonald's and I definitely never imagined it would be so engrossing - nor that I would actually end up feeling sympathy for the original owners. This is not just a good movie - it is a movie that you should see because it tells you about more than McDonald's - it tells you about America, and the 50's and big business and you will end up struggling to hold on to preconceived idea about good guys and bad guys.

It's just business.

Watched Denzel on Graham Norton...Fences looks fantastic

also..i thoroughly enjoyed American Honey and The lobster ......although some might go WTF with the lobster

I loved the Guardians opening lines of their Review of American Honey..."Andrea Arnold’s tough but tender road trip with a busload of young magazine sellers is dazzling. Even Shia LaBeouf can’t spoil it"
