The Circle (2017) 5/10.

Great cast, terrible script. Preachy, overbearing story-telling destroys an interesting subject and a relevant topic. Instead of presenting both sides of the argument and opening it for debate it devolves into a predictable hum-drum thriller with all the thrills removed.

It's not that it's really bad, it's just so bland and mediocre that it really will not change your life (or your opinion) if you ever see this or not.

Rather read 1984, watch the Truman Show or Person of Interest, or just read any book (I suggest Foucault or Gramsci) about the use of information and power.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017) 8/10.

Slow-burning, brooding, brutal bruiser of a movie, just like Vince Vaughn's character. Not for sensitive viewers.

That poor man probably just wants a minute or two to watch the pottery and sewing channel without constant interruptions for the Tour de Sagan. And now with you off to watch Chris's acting quality closely he can finally relax.

Watched Blade Runner 2049

That Gosling is good hey

Reminded me a lot of his performance in Drive

Stunning cinematography and effects

I'm still working up to it, but ja, Drive was good, so was he, at least I can place him.
