The last movie my wife and I watched at a cinema was Fantastic Beasts, and that's when she was still pregnant. So it's been a while since we watched anything on the big screen. I think we'll make a date night on the 8th of March.

Sounds like a great plan

Ja nee.. the 4 of us went to the movies on my son's bday and it cost us R750..(tickets, x-large popcorn and slush puppy).

It is craaaazy.

Holy s... It's been a really long time since I've been to a cinema but that's insane.

Here it is $18 each for a movie. Cheap as chips is SA, relatively speaking.

Although the experience here is so much more peaceful so it's almost worth it!

Still love going to the the cinema, but yes it's ridicilously expensive if you want to do it as a family outing. So I mostly go on my own unless I know its something the others in the family would like.

Far more selective about the movies I watch in the cinemas nowadays, if the reviews are bad I don't take the chance, I wait until I can watch it at home. (Upside of that is that I rarely spend my money on a complete stinker..)

In Belgium it's €11.30 for a regular ticket and €12.05 for 3D.

There's a few different theater chains and smaller, independent theaters, so prices vary a tad.

The real killer at the cinemas is always the drinks and snacks.

I've been to the cinema way more than I did in SA. It's quite enjoyable

Aquaman

IMAX

Geez

Fantastic origin story

Dramatic

What a family narrative

Archetypal brilliance

Those geeks that designed the special effects - genius

The only downside is it makes you wanna pee-pee

All the water ????

'The Wife' with Glenn Close, who totally carried this movie.

Patriachy. Family drama. Marriage. Success.

Worth a watch.

dodgeball was on the box on the weekend. Nothing like some classic ben stiller to put your feet up to...but...near the end was this cringy scene that I had forgotten about.....oh the irony
