Anyone here seen Captain Marvel yet, and how was it?

Not yet. Tomorrow, probably. And - the critics view is that it was Green Lantern, but in drag. Woefully inadequate when compared to WW, which really did take the cake in terms of female superhero "origin" movies. A stocking-filler, rather than the big flashy PS5 under the tree. 

 

Will definitely still watch it, though.

I actually really enjoyed it, but must agree with Dale, Brie is miscast. But it is not as bad as the Twitter trolls are making it out to be, and neither is it some rampant feminist nonsense. The main thing, I reckon, is how to deal with a character who is l, by all appearances, going to kick Thanos' arse.

 

The cat is really cute, though!

It's not that all of us are into comic book movies, its just almost the only big budget movies made by Hollywood nowadays. Like disaster movies in the 90's they are hard to avoid.
