Tumbleweed Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 That looks like IE7 which is now about 7 years old and even when released was a nightmare for many web developers due to it's "quirks". If you (anyone) must do IE anything from IE8 and up should be okay. IE 11 better, Chrome, Firefox or Safari even better. Ja, it is IE7. Was a nightmare to use. A lot of the news syndicate websites were optimised for IE8 and up. We're on Chrome now at work, but that is still on the suite of programmes on my PC here.

Then we'll be able to see what's causing the problem and hopefully resolve for all other IE users.

I had another user report a similar issue a few days ago and IE compatibility seemed to be the culprit. If you are using IE please let me know which version so that we can try to replicate the problem and resolve. Same issue my side.Started happening after Adobe Flash update in the week.Typing and it skips every other key. Cannot paste. When you are in the edit screen, you cannot scroll up. It throws you to bottom of page immediately. Running IE1111.0.9600.16521

straatvark Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 IE 11 here: I also experience the avatar issue that Fanie have - it comes and goes and I cant get a handle on the exact cause. I questioned this earlier in this section of the forum. The layout issue as display by TW - I had it earlier this week - I had to remove thehub from my compatibility view list. I also experience Johan's issue in the reply box. It seems to work but after a couple of IE spelling recommendations (which i NEED ) it goes all wrong. Had to revert to Chrome to post this for example.

I find it just about impossible to write in the edit screen, nor can I paste text written in another editor and transfer it here. Running IE1111.0.9600.16521 I've just patched the site with a fix for the Copy-Paste and Quote Reply issues in IE 11. It should have also solved some other quirks. @SwissVan and @Spinnekop please let me know if typing skipping issue is still occurring. Thanks

Used firefox and it is fine. No trouble with other sites using IE11 though? Using IE10 at office, no problem
