Looks like John and Mike have split up. Both chasing a 6am cut off tomorrow.

Going to be a long day for Mike.

Go Mike - you can do it!

Thanks to everybody for the support on my little adventure . Doc say I will survive to ride another day and my back will be in good shape again soon . Knee might take a bit longer but nothing permanent . I will catch up here tomorrow . I got some unfinished business with RASA and will return in two years .

It was good fun watching your adventures DR... bad luck.

In a couple of years you'll be more experienced and wiser. I'm curious.... will you go back on a SS?

Legendary stuff! well done

OK decided I cannot wait for two years , will be back next year and yes definitely on a SS again but this time with 32/19 .

that's the spirit.

I know you put a lot of thought into planning for this year, but you probably learnt a helluva lot more by doing it?!

Maybe one of these days I'll see you at the start...... But if that ever happens, I'll plan to finish in Rhodes

This is a great way to get used to orientating your map and learning what the physical landscapes look like on a map. This is all you really need for rasa(I think) It's also a great opportunity to get used to using a map board and see what others use.

They are really well organized with a smaller number of competitors and something to do that is not the norm of simply pushing out the km.

no point going fast, if you're going fast in the wrong direction.

oh. and ask Andrew Barnes about his only real nav error in the race!

Today these trackers are just too stressful.

John Bowens tracker has completely vanished after he made it to Trouthaven at about midday and Mike Roys is still a way from Trouthaven with both John and Mike chasing the 26 day cut off at 6am tomorrow morning. Go guys Go!!!
