I wanna enter, but not sure whether to do the 20km or 40km.Seems a waste to travel all that way and only do the 20km.On the other hand have never done a 40km race.I have not trained much lately cos of a cold, but there is still 3 weeks left to train.

Do the 40km and just take it easy. It is a scenic route and because there are no series points, seeding issues or inflated egos you can take it easy and enjoy yourself. A beer and pizza at the hotel afterwards can be your reward. (they also have lekker coffee)

Wish I was going, spent 4 days riding in Magoebaskloof in August. Fantastic place to ride....just need to take the climbing legs along!

This or 94.7? No debate, would go to Magoebas any day

I'm in for the 80 with a rather inflated ego having made Spionkop on Saturday but only just. Anything similar to Spionkop on Magoebaskloof?

I have not done Magoebas since they changed the route. There was a 23km climb which has been shortened.Pretty much like the Mamba on Sabie

Just mention Mamba and that's how you scare a River Rat! I shall proceed with caution.
