Been hit by a few peoples mirrors in my commutes! one dude was in a polo and didn't even slow down, I caught him at the next stop sign and all I got was a blank stare as he drove off...

One lady nearly clipped me then clipped the dude cycling in front of me, didn't even slow down even though her mirror was broken off and dangling on the adjuster link. I caught up to her, swore her and ripped the now useless mirror off and dropped it on the road as she "didn't need this anymore as it wasn't used" to my amazement she kept going!

I thought that the incident would not have an effect on me... Boy was I wrong. Every car that passed me this morning scared the poo out of me.

It was like I had 0 confidence on the bike anymore. I even took a different route this morning. Thinking of taking a whole new route tomorrow just to see if I can get a route with less traffic. Even thinking of leaving at 05:30 in the morning and not 06:30.

Even the 3 flashing rear lights gave me 0 guts. You can say that I went all yellow belly.

Even the Curra race. Having me doubts, as I wanted to cycle there before the race.

At this point, I am thinking of hanging up the bikes, getting fat like most white males and waiting for the heart attack to finish me off.
