Hosted at a different venue, more demanding route.Completely acceptable to me, as you get more bang for almost the same buck. Some other race on the calendar. Same route, same distance, same venue, R100.00 more expensive. Explain me that riddle!!

The amount of times I have sworn under my breathe while crawling into a wind guru "moderate South Easter" blowing 50km/h is far too many to count! Everyone rides in the same conditions so no problemo Did not realise how much further the new venue is from the old one. Almost got caught out by the further distance and the earlier start time. I would have been riding on my ace if had not been told.

But the route back from Yzerfontein turnoff to Mamre is going to leave a lotta soldiers hurt, i promise you Me likey likey the new route

We are expecting a turnout of about 2000. Have a great ride and many thanks for the great support.
Maniax Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 massively excited, but also a bit nervous. Last 100km race was the Argus. Did a couple of 90s and 80's on my own. This is going to hurt. but at the end while lying fetes position on the grass weeping, the only thing going through my mind will be, "that was awesome!" hehe
