Also my understanding, they really don't owe thehub an explanation. The fat lady has sung so to speak.

Nope they don't, which is a real pity as there would be more value in this saga if this type of scenario could be avoided for the next cyclist who will at some time in the future fall into the same type of trap. It's just a question of time....

The problem is that the 'phat' lady didn't sing Roux, sounds more like she whispered in Brandon's ear....

I really think its time to de-regulate the sport and legalise doping, and finished. Its happening anyway, and it seems to be totally unstoppable. After the Lance expose everyone thought we were entering this new clean era, but that seems to be an elusive dream.

Let them all race filled to the eyeballs with whatever cocktails they want. Everyone will then be on a level playing field, and it will make the racing helluva exciting. Athletes wont be criminalized; admittedly the downside is

that they will invariably elevate their own risk of harm, but they can manage that by using good judgment about what they put into their bodies.

No no no no, because even drugs cannot level the playing field.

Like some dude who hit a selfie with 7 yellow jerseys.

They didn't feel an ounce of guilt when they raced right next to you taking what others had worked harder for. Don't expect any remorse now.

My 10c, it would have been 5c but I know a little more.

These guys have been at it for a long time, this is just the karma coming through, finally.

But let's not say too much about them.

The exciting part is the new generation, you might still have doubts but just wait and see, we will prove to you that the top guys are in fact clean and genuine talent.

James Reid, Rourke Croeser, Brendon Davids just to name a few. Focus your attention on them, the rest will move on!

PS. Use twitter if you really need to know who the OP is

Pulling this thread out the archives adds no value to our sport.

I disagree, I don't think guys who cheat feel anything when the bans are mediocre at best.

If someone cheats they shouldn't feel welcome at future events.

Absolutely couldn't agree more.

The community simply accepting them back with open arms makes the decision to cheat easier.

Also, you serve time for a crime. That doesn't mean people need to forgive you. Especially if you then make douchebag posts on Twitter. Just remember people who are the type to cheat are also the same type that don't really feel remorse. As far as I am aware, he still hasn't actually admitted to cheating?
