F Marias..watse carbon bars gebruik jy saam met watse vurk?

Ritchey not sure what I have on the road bike. On the MTB where the bar is at the moment it runs with a RS Tora.

Know the Road Bike is equipped with a carbon fork. Switched the carbon bar to the MTB as the SS Road Bike had a low riding position, and the old bars from the MTB has a riser bar. The Carbon is a flat bar

I ride Enve on my geared bike

but I wont use that on my ss with a niner rigid

They are awesome and light and I got many miles out of them but theres a big difference with impact between a bike with a shock and a rigid.

if enve makes downhill carbon bars I might look into them...unless you are a very very light rider

Guys from personal experiece do you guys find a difference?

currently a have a very broad Niner bar on my Sir and a rigid niner fork.

I race my bike and I ride quite technical. .would a high end bar like Enve make a difference on the softness.

Bumps ect doesnt really effect me but its always nice to play around with new stuff and ideas like you okes know.

i got a sir, with a niner fork and Ritchey bar, the bar makes a beeeg differernce for me, even changing the brand of fork to a NINER was day and night difference

It is probably important to get a good brand (never second hand!)

Agree...

Think I have a broken bar somewhere. Why do I think it was on my old road bike. Know I had a bent bar. Once bent, chuck it. It will break if you try to take the bend out...

any okes here that ride SS ofroad..with a Rigid fork?

This will give us better info on the 2 differences..a fork do take a lot of the knocks..

I ride a Rigid with the FSA bars (bought second hand).

You need to treat carbon and alloy bars the same way (check for any where, small knicks ect.).

Steel Rigid with carbon ridged fork and carbon bars is my go to offroad bike for everything but racing...... my go to bike for training is a steel bike with a steel rigid fork and carbon bars..... carbon bars are the only way to go - watch the Enve test in the link I posted above.... those toys are STRONG.

Remember the good old days of rigged steel... That was the days. Steel is so forgiving compared to the stiff Alu things we get today.

Niner RDO fork with a Crank Brothers Cobalt alu bar. Oh, and a 2.35" Nobby Nic tyre.
