I for one am glad I went for a suspension for on my SS, have really enjoyed rigid bikes in the past, but with SS I reckon if you're going to suggest going up you may as well have some fum coming down and like Hairy said, momentum is your best friend

in fact I think its time to bump my 100mm to 120mm travel....

I have a steel inbred with a 120 mm RS XX lockout dual air fork .I sold my carbon fork before even using it .My bike setup is as good as it gets and as comfortable as i want it to be Edited by Blitzer

My STR29 is running the same fork and I love it.

Problem is that I will now love to get a Epicon 120mm for my 26" (which is running a cheap and heavy coil fork at the moment).

Thanks for the feedback all. I'm probably going to go with a 120mm option. Still undecided on whether I go Reba or Epicon. It's going to come down to how much more the Reba is going to be... I know it's more expensive, but pretty convinced it's worth it.

I have a Momsen STR29 with Suntour Epicon 120fork on , do it , you won't be sorry . I ride it more than my Giant carbon dual Susser now

Mate has a similar setup with the Suntour Epicon at 100mm, but it can be increased to 120mm.

Highly underated fork that.

I have an epicon, an incredible fork! It's light and smooth and overall great bang for your buck! Just make sure that the q-loc thru axle is the new version ( the old one has issues with certain hubs).

Hairy, why can a trail Bike not be rigid?

There's a guy that I've seen at 2 Dirtopia Enduros that rides them with his fully rigid Kona Unit. And he's pretty quick on it too
