I have been thinking of my backside a lot lately as it was kinda reminding me that is is feeling a bit tender of late. Usually after a long period of not riding the backside starts feeling sore after just a short ride. But being a regular cyclist for some time now I guess that part of the body hardened up. Well that is until I started doing longer distances on bad roads more regularly.

I have noticed some burning and itching vibes randomly coming and going and it is uncomfortable the first hour or so in the saddle.

Now I suspect the enemy from within (sweat) is trapped in my cotton as I always wear them (cotton) wen I suit up. I suspect the salt aggravates the shaving between moving and impact area around the middle area.

Question: Cotton or no cotton layer. And any other general advice for sores created by the saddle.

You nearly had me - then I realized it was Friday

These stupid silly cotton in cheek threads are clogging up whats supposed to be a serious forum (Fitness and Training)
