Mometum Twitter Ride (Warm-up for Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge) 2014

I did this two years ago, but missed it last year.

 

Not sure if there will be one this year but if anyone has any info, pls post it here?

 

It's usually a 30 odd km ride at a comfortable pace. Two years ago it started at the Waterfall Estate and Robbie Hunter, Phil Ligget & Chris Froome (amongst others) were there. Last year I believe it started at the Dome.

Sadly since two years ago, it appears to have become more of a commercialised sponsors event with one famous cyclist.

Have not seen many details but they did mention on Super cycling that Marianne Vos and Ashleigh Moolman would be riding the Twitter ride.

 

Not sure who the big name boys will be but see Daryl Impey is logging local rides on Strava so maybe he is in???
