Supplements taken on the 2 rest days will have an influence on the GC too - Astana may make a comeback. Re Conto, there is also the small matter of the Giro de Italia he raced very hard not so long ago. He would need to chow some steaks to help his legs recover.Froome looked the strongest of the CG riders so far, but his team looks weaker than the other big 3, on paper.

He might go for a stage win pulling Quintana with him, with the promise that he will help Quintana put in lots of time on Froome on another mountain stage. I pick Quintana to make a big move on Alpe d'Huez.
