Patchelicious Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 He's not gonna make the end ol' TejayWhat was in his Rice Crispies this morning?Tyler's book speaks of bad BBs on rest days
'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Interesting that Team Sky have two men in the move with Porte and Roche. That's intent for you but it puts more pressure on the five riders left around Froome.
'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Main break: Tanel Kangert (Astana), Jan Bakelants and Mikaël Chérel (AG2R-La Mondiale), Thibaut Pinot and Benoît Vaugrenard (FDJ), Richie Porte and Nicolas Roche (Sky), Rafal Majka and Peter Sagan (Tinkoff-Saxo), Jonathan Castroviejo, José Herrada and Gorka Izagirre (Movistar), John Degenkolb and Simon Geschke (Giant-Alpecin), Alberto Losada (Katusha), Adam Yates (Orica-GreenEdge), Rigoberto Uran (Etixx-Quick Step), Perrig Quémeneur (Europcar), Steven Kruijswijk (LottoNL-Jumbo), Kristjian Durasek and Rafael Valls (Lampre-Merida), Andrew Talansky and Ryder Hesjedal (Cannondale-Garmin), Nicolas Edet (Cofidis), Mathias Frank (IAM Cycling), Merhawi Kudus, Serge Pauwels and Daniel Teklehaimanot (MTNèQhubeka).
'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 The world champion is in the van Garderen group, which picks up a few more riders on the second climb. Team Sky are now on the descent and heading towards the feedzone at 80km.
'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 As things stand Valverde has moved into third on GC with Contador now in fourth. Will we see more of a GC shake up on the Col de la Colle?
rock Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Would like to see Kudus get some exposure today. Him and Meintjies in the break please. 1 out of 2 I suppose isn't bad. Go Kudus!!
rock Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 As things stand Valverde has moved into third on GC with Contador now in fourth. Will we see more of a GC shake up on the Col de la Colle? Classics, GT's, whats next for Valverde - an hour record attempt? Oh wait his 36th birthday.
Patchelicious Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 As things stand Valverde has moved into third on GC with Contador now in fourth. Will we see more of a GC shake up on the Col de la Colle?I think this means he won't ride to help Qdog. He is already a selfish type rider, with a podium on the cards, that just increases the temptation for him.
Rocket-Boy Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Tyler's book speaks of bad BBs on rest daysHahaha! that is so weird, I just mentioned to a colleague that he probably had a bad bag last night. He gave my copy of the secret race back yesterday so still fresh in his mind.
Shebeen Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 streaming on eurosport - just interviewing jens zemke, he says maincheese is feeling a bit sick today, so no surprise he missed the break
Nibali Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Classics, GT's, whats next for Valverde - an hour record attempt? Oh wait his 36th birthday. I think he will kill for the rainbow stripes this year, he's been close a few times now if I remember correctly.
T-Bob Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Think there will be alot of riders today worrying about the time cut off. This has been gas from the start.
Mntboy Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hahaha! that is so weird, I just mentioned to a colleague that he probably had a bad bag last night. He gave my copy of the secret race back yesterday so still fresh in his mind.Or he could just be sick. Jumping to a doping conclusion is not the best. And I'm not saying that because I like TvG but he could be sick for an altogether different reason.
GaryvdM Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 And from my count only 1 Movistar rider, which could mean a 1st place for them. Holy cow!! If they pull that off I'm buying myself a Buffelo Bicycle!! 3 Movistar riders in the break:IZAGIRRE INSAUSTI G.CASTROVIEJO NICOLAS J.HERRADA LOPEZ J. It seems as though they are racing for the yellow helmets.
