This is probably a stupid question.....

I bought a new bike with Carbon Handle Bars and the it is a bit wide for me. What tool does a person use to cut Carbon Handle Bars?

Learn to ride with the wider bars...shorten your stem and you will have better control and it won't feel as wide ;)

This. How wide are they? Anything less than 720 is sacrilege  :P

If you must cut them, you'll need a saw guide, some masking tape, a 32T hacksaw blade and some fine sandpaper.

Wrap the area around the cut in a layer of masking tape to stop splintering, mark the length, attach the guide and cut slowly. Sand smooth and chamfer the inner and outer edges and you're done.

Shorter stem will work well. For some reason bikes are usually sold with a 90mm stem. I find this too long for me and have switched mine to a 60mm stem. Better control and doesn't feel like I'm being pulled forward.

But if you really don't like the wide bars, take it to a bike shop.
