Worst waste of time this year....

I ride a Fuel EX, loving it, decided to add a Enduro 29 and have a long travel for the Hakahana / South West HBP / go anywhere off the edge of the mountain type days...

Last Monday, 4 January, I walk into the Centurion Concept store, to buy said bike, or maybe just order the thing if they dont have my size... but wait, no one working their could give a ****...

I did two laps through the store looking at what they had, bloke behind the counter was way more interested in what was on his phone, some other sales type staff was shooting the **** with mates in EMS gear in the middle coffee shop type deal, but not a single person, accept the cleaner, was interested in the fact that I was wanting to drop more money, there and then, than their combined salaries...

Just close your doors, assclowns.

now I understand, Spaz, like smaller BMW's, might be for the entitled wannabee... I would rather spend my money on another Trek or Pyga.

Bone.

Usually if I walk into a shop with a bag of cash to spend I will approach the sales guy and tell him what I am looking for. There is a very fine balance between what some people call good service and others call annoying sales staff who follow you around the shop the entire time.

I have only ever had excellent service at centurion. But that is because when I walk in I great the people at the front desk and either tell them what I am looking for or that I am just there to waste some time and browse around...

This... each has their merits.

I for one, prefer being greeted, but then leave me alone. If I need something I will ask.

It is however impossible for every sales guys to somehow "sense" each of our own preferences. I worked in retail sales long ago, its not as easy as one thinks....

Same here, big reason why I hate shops.

Here is the reason I no longer shop at Hirsch's. I already have a shadow, I don't need a sales rep following me around. If I need help, I'll ask.

A Santa and Spez sharing the trail together in harmony...

their owners, however, were arguing and debating the merits of each specimen out of shot.

The debate ended when the Spez rider pulled down his pants to reveal his Spez undies... the SC rider had no come back because Santa Cruz don't make undies, nor pajamas, like Spez do :P
