Was not very excited in the beginning until it seemed like she just switched on and was meaning what she was singing.

She is brilliant , one of the great female indie voices.

Shearwater is one of my favourite bands, not a cover but them doing a song from Animal Joy .

dunno, but it's sponsored by Aspen pharmacare who mainly do generics so the covers thread is the right place.

Ok, I know I have posted all of the below before, but here it is in more context

 

Gov't Mule doing an Etta James cover. The lead singers name is Warren Haynes and sings solo under his own name .... the Gov't Mule is when he with his brother and the band.
 
Recon this is an exceptional cover.
 
 
Another cover of the track by a group called Chicken Shack, the female lead singer (Christine Perfect, later to becomeChristine McVie) eventually left and joined Fleetwood Mac
