Hardly a trail monster, just a 100mm fork, but it rides so so sweetly! Just built, very few kms on. I am going to try a slightly shorter stem too.

More of a gravel grinder than a trail monster, but have taken my Momsen around Modderfontein a few times. The big 42T cog also allows my weak legs to get up some steep climbs.  :thumbup:

C'mon guys, only one real hardtail monster shown so far, in this thread?

 

To help save it, here's a (rubbish) photo of me riding a Mercer Hungry Monkey down one of the most gnarly sections in Cape Town-not my bike, but it's hand made in Cape Town and everyone should own one IMO!

You saying that one can not ride real trails with a rigid?
