I dont think some of our best atheletes in our country and major teams around the world would use a product that does not work. Its just an attack on a brand. Like everyone attack apple ect. Its pure competition. I mean most people fell for tim noaks.

we as consumers should be skeptical with our purchases, not only with USN. Im very skeptical of these vitamin tablets that cost R160 and claim to contain everything you need. Very much like I struggle to understand that a copper band on your wrist can do so much wonders. I'm not saying everything is scams out there, I just struggle to understand that all these things can work. Balance diet for me

It is all to work that muscle between the ears............

the pro's use it because they are paid to (sponsorship). it does no harm so why not make a quick buck out of it.

I've read articles before about their VO2 max product being a load of hogwash but this is quite a scathing article :nuke: albeit quite old.........

so if the product does not work why would you use it at the cape epic?

It was to say that repeating a libel makes one liable. Of course the defence works if what is said is true; i was offering a word of caution.

On homeopathy, my friend forgot to take their homeopathic medicine and died of an overdose.

Noted, thanks. Idea was not to slander the guy, but discuss the boldness of the article. Guess I can see how it can be misconstrued. Will update the title.

You want proof that professional athletes would use a product that does not work?

Their name, USN, sells itself these days to uneducated people. Bottom line..its a kuk product!

Not for/against USN, but are you qualified to make that statement?

Are you a chemist, sports nutritionist, doctor or an expert in supplements?

Everyone is quick to make a statement, but how many really know what they're talking about.....

"Snake Oil Salesman." The phrase conjures up images of seedy profiteers trying to exploit an unsuspecting public by selling it fake cures. In fact, the Oxford English Dictionary defines snake oil as "a quack remedy or panacea."
