KarlvN Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Okay okay okay. in the light of all the BS and handbag slapping that has gone down in Hubville over the last few days, leaving bugger all for Friday, I call a Rave Thread into existence. What is it that either made you feel good over the last few days? Failing that, what are you looking forward to over the weekend. Mine is that I will be doing my first attempt up Ou Helshoogte with perhaps some Delvera thrown in for some good measure. Anyone, anyone?
shaper Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Every Friday is a rave Friday when you are walking and cycling on the right side of the grass!!!
KarlvN Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 You chose the wrong Friday Nope, I think for this very reason I actually chose the BEST Friday. Imagine all the sourpuss's on the trails and road over the weekend if all they have to go on is all the prior negative threads. okes are gonna be brutal.

Amberdrake Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Hoping for a really early Jonkershoek morning ride Saturday. Will be testing out a shorter stem! Will be buying myself a year membership as going there often these days.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I'm building a bathroom cabinet for a mate's girlfriend, who got royally fleeced by her "plumber" and "cabinet maker" - managed to get the 2 taps 5mm out of alignment with each other AND offset from the spigot, made a hole in the tile that was too big for the spigot and just filled it with expanding foam, and put the taps and spout so close to the wall that the sink she bought won't fit properly.
Eddy Gordo Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I cant ride this weekend However I will be on camp with the family
Amberdrake Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Wow the rant warning is in your face..... Good luck with building the cabinet! Sounds semi fun just remember beer makes it even better!
SteveJhb Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I am really excited about the simple fact that I am finally back on a bike and love every minute of it.
Donovan Le Cok Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Raves for the week and the up coming weekend. CWC replaced my Garmin HR strap under warranty, thank you to Wayne there, he was fantastic to deal with. I bought new MTB wheels! I have sports science testing on Saturday! It going to hurt like hell but it always feels good to get it over with. I am racing in Paarl on Sunday! Lots of positives!
rawbone Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Whatsapp launching a web client this week was awesome

I must admit Capitan that I had a good chuckle from this. I'm pretty sure your mates gf is impressed, if my wife is anything to go by. Women seem to be pretty fussy about their bathrooms, especially the cabinets where they store all their goodies. Strongs, and I hope you get it sorted bud.
