PaulTCR Posted January 23, 2015 Share I'm not much of a techie but have turned into a bit of a stravaholic - me and the wife even do the deed together right after our rides. We don't have matching bikes and avoid wearing matching kit but we do now have matching Garmin 500's after I upgraded from an old 305 last Christmas. This was great until we worked out that when she plugged her Garmin in it immediatley downloaded her ride to my Strava (I don't think plugging mine in has a reciprocal effect). There is probably a very simple, obvious setting that will solve the problem. But where the heck is it?

jcza Posted January 23, 2015 Share You need to link the devices to the correct accounts in Garmin Express and make sure that the Garmin account is then linked to Strava if you chose automatic upload. Even if its the same you will see Edge and Edge 1. I think you can rename the devices in Express. Else log into Strava and upload manually by connecting device. danievj and Pure Savage

Let me know if u wanna sell the old garmies? Edited January 23, 2015 by DieBees
Bobbo_SA Posted January 23, 2015 Share Agree with JCZA, you need to logon to her account in Garmin connect and then upload it, Strava picks it up from the Garmin connect site.
scotty Posted January 23, 2015 Share As mentioned I would first log on then connect my unit, download and log off and remove unit. Then log on separate profile, connect unit and download. Not sure if you've linked strava and garmin connect but that might be another challenge.
rudi-h Posted January 27, 2015 Share Surely you can't expect help from le hub after admitting to be a stravasshole? I mean no one on le hub goes for strava segments. Ever.

Is there a way to merge the activity on Strava ?you've told both apps to synch with Strava, choose one of the apps to do the synching and turn strava synching off on the other app shaper
SwissVan Posted November 26, 2020 Share Hey Guys When I wattbike the wattbike app and the garmin app both upload my workout to strava which the double's the KM's actually done. Is there a way to merge the activity on Strava ? Not sure if merging will be an Option... BUT you can delete the unwanted upload in strava quite easily. Obvisouly this would have to be done everytime you wattbike…. but ist quick, ask me I've been doing it for years when i ride with my IDT (Rouvy) rides. JohanDiv Posted November 26, 2020 Share Hey Guys When I wattbike the wattbike app and the garmin app both upload my workout to strava which the double's the KM's actually done. Is there a way to merge the activity on Strava ? I'm assuming you don't want to lose one of the rides because you get power data from the Wattbike, and HR data from the Garmin? In your Garmin go to indoor cycling settings/sensors and pair the wattbike as a powermeter sensor. Then after an activity only upload your Garmin activity which will now have both power and HR data.
