If that happened to me I would have gone to ground as soon as he touched me and taken him down with me.... made a massive scene... claimed he attacked me... rolled around on the floor clutching my shoulder and neck...

Put the Ballie in front of a magistrate, see if he still shows off his idiotic criminal bahaviour.I promise you will see his pants shivering just before he p..s.s himself.I saw big burly frames rattle from their teeth downwards in a court of law.

Must be largely the parks fault(coupled with deranged unhinged parents), the parents seem to genuinely believe it to be a dedicated kiddies track and see these big oompa loompas as the delinquent interlopers.

I know what's considered "correct" these days, firstly I say well done to you SIR for remaing calm, I was raised to avoid conflict, But BIG BUT, if I was hit, pushed attacked I was raised to protect myself ,,,yes in this situation it would have escalated to an unneeded situation but you never know what the idiots intentions were, maybe he didn't stop at a push and decided to put in a liberty shot

I hope I could say I would remain calm and behave in the "correct" manner

But I fear I'm really *** at doing that if some plank decides he is going to push me around,,,especially if I am minding my own

My son spent two years at Reddam Primary in Tokai. You see some very special children and even more special parents

My sister's taught Gd 2&3 there for years, some of the parents are special, but some of the parents are very cool and that makes her stay ;)

I was physically abused by my mother when I was a kid.  She did not understand the limits of a good hiding which meant that I used to get multiple blows with the belt over my head and back instead of my bum.  This lead me to be a guy that would avoid conflict if at all possible.  In this case I would have just packed up and walk away.  I must congratulate you for staying calm and standing your ground.

I hate these schoolyard bully types, and that bloke was probably that type, thinking he can trigger a physical conflict with you.

This world certainly isn't short of dooshbags. Well handled. Would have escalated if it were most people. Although a 2x4 to his head would have been a reasonable reaction in this case.

Seems that very simply the rules of the venue should be enforced. Sounds like the parents are not cyclists themselves nor are they understanding of others. Venue does sound like a cool place where you could ride with your kids as well.

Well done for staying so cool. It must have taken some serious self control. I am not sure that I would have been able to do the same if someone tried to push me off my bike.
