Entered for the solo.

Must say I would like to know lap distance but hoping to do 100 km's.

Have never been to the Delta park or any MTB event in JHB for that matter but sure I will get some good endurance training

Also looking for a place to store some goodies but read that riders can park on th e field which I asume is close to start so was planning to work out of my boot.

Will anyone have a gazebo up where I can just leave a cooler box? Plan to ride all the time so no need for chairs, blankets or picnic set

We will have a "water point" which will be near the timing where guys have put a tog bag or cooler box before.  I also dont mind adding it to my mates gazebo (Im going to be all over on the day, so cant take responsibility for anything), if you prefer.  You can ask for me at registration.

That would be great, nothing of value just a cooler box with some extra cold water, energy mix and a few bananas .... I think the water point will be fine if none of the hub regulars wants to let me squat at their gazebo ;)

Cheese the route should be finalized tomorrow but 2 of the sections are not park of the park and locked up until the actual morning of the race but once we have it confirmed I will try to map the route and will post it here for you.

You are in for a real treat - Delta Park is beautiful and this race is great fun.

You can work out of your boot, just make sure to get there early to get a spot.

I am looking at setting up a gazebo, so you can store your stuff there. I will be there early to set up. Wife is running the 5km at 7a so want to be there before that start. I will pm you my contact number.

Thanks, how many parking spots do you have , was planning to be there around 08:00 but guess that is not early enough, with the run also taking place.

Parking on the field will only be allowed for cyclists, the runners and spectators will park in other parking areas but there is still limited space on the field.
