What are the ladies riding?

Don't see many ladies road bikes. Also, seen that for the same price point, the components are a lot worse.

What I have heard is that the stand over is the issue which ladies frames are apparently better at.

Any "mens/normal" frames which are cool for ladies? I know the ones with massive reach are less than ideal.

My road and mtb's are all ladies specific.  If I was to ride a mens bike, I am between a medium and a small.  Either way I need to worry about changing my stem length and it affects the control of the bike.

I fit perfectly on a ladies medium as the top tube is shorter.  Don't need to adjust anything.  Being a weekend warrior it also helps that the bike comes with easier gears ;-)

Brakes don't worry me much on the mtb, but I find on the road bike it makes a big difference having the brake levers closer.

COLOUR! With a few exceptions, ladies bikes are often pink or purple. This irritates me so much :cursing: .

One of the reason I chose my mtb's is the colour.  They are both ladies bikes, but not girly at all.  The one is black with a thin blue line and the other is a dark Grey.  Both very understated.

I want the new Specialized Era S-Works, she is beautiful.

Only my Merida is ladies specific, my SS mountain bike, track bike and SS Raleigh fool around bikes are extra small framed male bikes, sure stems had to be shortened etc. but makes for nice fast twitchy riding. Merida is my slow coach indoor trainer bike, or basically tourer when she has her race wheels on, however not great at exceleration or sprints, good for hill training though.

Secretly I covet my better halfs bikes, race machines, great components and boy they look GOOD.

Just got this baby yesterday, the Focus Izalco Donna. post-79554-0-32945600-1442387965_thumb.jpg Built it from a 2012 frame and parts from my old bike, the Trek 2300 WSD. post-79554-0-71195700-1442388870_thumb.jpg

I had to buy new wheels because the Trek has 650c wheels.

Loving my new ride. Can't wait to get out there again!

Long time, nothing to look at on this thread, ladies!

So here, I'm showing off my new baby - a Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 750.

650b wheels; 120mm travel. For me personally, hopefully the perfect 'inbetweener' between a XC and a true trail bike: climbs well, but can also handle more technical stuff.

Go on... show off your bike!
