jp_booysen Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 looking to buy a new bike and had a look at the Merida Big Nine 500 and Scott Scale 960. Which of these two will be better valie for money and an overall better set of wheels?
BenReaper Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Not sure about pricing,but after glancing over the specs I would recomend the Scott as it has better components.Go test ride both to get a feel for what suits you though.

But you tend to get more bang for your buck with a Merida. I'm not a fan of the vertical rear shock, hence not mad on the current Meridas. Also at top end of ranges I think Scott much better.
