ScottCM Posted March 10, 2015 Share Just came to me, this event had a lot of talk about new route vs old route in terms of difficulty and climbing etc. But i don't recall anyone mentioning how their race time improved in the new route over the old one. So hear it goes, last year was my second 947 and i did it in 3H40 in a mostly solo ride starting in the charity batches. My previous attempt was completed in 4H29 in a total solo ride starting in the SS batches as it was my first ever event. Alot of solo riding.3rd year - 03:37:21 (New Route) - Still not fit enough but enjoyed myself, only suffered in steyn city with cramps(last 5km). A little more group riding - only solo`ed at the end.
