I was originally seeded 7:40 but applied for reseeding and got a 7:20. Boy was i in for a shock standing at the line .... i looked around and thought to myself theres no way Im classed at this level , dam i hate being right ...passed 1500 cyclist , screamed "passing right" 3000 times ...one lady ( Seeded I group ) refused to move when i forced myself through i saw the witch had blady earphones in. anyways i managed a 3:12 and 4/620 in the group surely i was reseeded incorrectly. Well I suppose somebody has to win the (any) group, or be placed in the top 4, and it might suggest they should be upgraded in the future? Or they rode really well, compared to their 'norm', that day? But seeding is a black-art; good luck in understanding it. As for the lady with earphones, it's a fun-ride. As much as I don't like earphones on the bike, she was having fun (presumably). Perhaps direct the racing-snake approach, which is commendable and fun in its own right, to a race where things might be a little more predictable and with more like-minded people? The 947 in anything apart from the top classes will always be full of 'unusual' sights and sounds. If they're viewed as obstructions, expect increased blood pressure. Embrace them as part of the jol, and you'll still smile about them long after you've forgotten your time?

Not to say I didn't enjoy the event it would have been a blast working with people within the same index. Guys please don't take it personal , I ride for fun, and this is how I have fun. PS : at least us captonians know how to work/group ride.

So I went through the results, I presume this is you: http://results.racetec.co.za/results_by_person.aspx?PID=471638 I presume this because "P" is the first group where the 4th placed rider had a time of 3:12. The start time for group "P" was 7:35. You said that your reseed got you a time of 7:20, which was group "L". So you are bitching about the reseed not being right, but you were seeded in group "L" but only started in group "P". Sorry dude, this was your fault.

I steadily increased the pace before pulling over to take photos of Team NSPCA at the entrance. Interesting to see the number of riders that looked around to see a fat bike chasing me.

Yeah I'm fine but my time is not.lol Mr Stats I dropped back to help a friend after noticing no one is going to help him. I think passed everyone in "L" anyways. My point is that seeding is key, it prevents lots of things. Anyways big ups to the two lappers , I envy your guys power.

Um, In 2013 I did a 2:51 from group K. My poor seeding did not prevent me then....
