Saag Posted April 21, 2015 Share Yip last year was one big batch start, it sucked as people were pushing bikes for the 1st 2 km's. I hear this year there will be seeding, hopefully based on sas index. Did the 45km last year in 2:37, 1 tough climb and the rest lekker rough downhill. Sure this year will be the sameI checked (via email) with Stillwater and they confirmed that the route has changed slightly for 2015 - so it sounds like the profile on the web is for the 'new' route. Waynehans Posted May 3, 2015 Share 20 Days Ladies!!!!! I can't wait anymore. 3 days at Buffelspoort with the family, and one awesome AFKAK ride on Saturday! My 3rd one. Maybe less cramping this year! Doesn't matter how they change the route.. Its gonna be hard. Remember, the Monster climb is the easy part (not that bad). The 45 odd km's after that climb is what kills you!!! This one must be one of the toughest one day races on the calendar. Two years back I thought I will have just done Sani, how bad can it be, well........
