So I want to try this out on my bike - 27.5+ tyres and rims on a 29er full sus frame.

Has anyone done it?

If so what rims and tires and what frame.

Will it fit in to my 29er Specialized Epic Frame ?

They reckon the traction is awesome - I just dont want to build a whole new bike (yet)

What is the benefit of 27+ over 29er?

I cannot see the need to spend money on new wheels etc, when the dimensions are not much different to what you have.

I suggest that you wait for the 29+ craze to hit.

do some googling and you can see the reviews.

Basically wider rims, fatter tyres, more contact patch, better traction but less spun mass than 29 or 29+.

Makes sense and the reviews are so far good.

Not needed but what the hell.....

all the forks that are 27.5+ plus seem to be 29er forks but with the new wider 115mm axle, don't think any current 29er fork will work.
