Thank you Falco, much appreciated.

I know the first +/- 9km has an ascent of +/- 400mtrs...but if I remember correctly it's mostly the Wind that plays a factor in this race on stage 2 and 3...but looking forward to a hard day in the saddle

I'm in for the 40-49 bus ride!

Remember to bring long fingered gloves for stage 1!

Rubber gloves under your gloves work like a charm!

I have a pair of woollies going over my cycling gloved tomorrow.

Good luck everyone! Looks like a good turn out despite the date change.

The feeling was that there were little less people this year, also think the date change had some sort of an effect...

But all-in-all a good day out on the bike...with the little training and the wind blowing quite strong at times, managed to end about an hour behind the winners   did not expect it and very happy with that...could have pushed a bit more on stage 1 and 4, but then I would have spilled my beer! LOL :whistling:  :w00t:

Marshalls were REALLY great along the way and food was awesome...also the Energy Bars, bananas and extra water along the way at each stop helped a lot!

One or 2 hiccups with the non-flushing  toilets on stage 2 pit-stop, especially for the ladies.

But loads more positives than negatives throughout the day!!!

Kudo's to ALL attending and thanx to the chats along the way and at the stage pit-stops.

Hope to be back again

Does anybody know where we can find the photos taken at Kremetart during stages as well as at price giving.

Again a big thanks to organisers - despite the very cold start and wind they had everything under control. What an excellent event. See you next year

Was a nice weekend out, numbers were less than previous editions but I am sure the date change had a major impact on the race.

We will be back again next year!

I always enjoy this race. Had a mechanical on the last stage and thought it would have bumped us off the mens tandem podium(was 2nd men tandem at that stage) so didn't bother going to prize giving, Only to find out later from a team mate we only slipped down 1 spot to 3rd. Will be back again next year.
