Shikes Captain, that is terrible news. Don't know what to say that will make it better. Contact every Cash Crusaders, Cash Converters and bike shop from Town, through Salt River all the way to Athlone and warn them to be on the lookout. Your Reign is pretty one of a kind and easy to spot. :cursing: :(

Thanks Dawid. Going to do that tomorrow when I get to the office. Got the serial number, and you're right it is pretty distinctive

What's the latest Cap? Have you considered a bulk mailer to the contact email for the bike shops, Cash Converters and Crusaders in CT with a pic of the bike and some description thereof in case something comes up?

Mini Hijack (but relevant)

Just a question regarding insuring older bikes... Yours was a 2010. I have a 2009 Mongoose Teocali Elite that has had some changes done to it over the last few years. (New cockpit, pedals, dropper etc) How do you go about valuing something like that? In the case of your Reign, the only thing standard is probably the frame.

What is the correct way to put a value on the bike?

Get two bike shops to give you a written valuation for replacement.

Correct. My broker instructed me to update the policy because "if your bike gets knicked, and it's Insured for the value up bought it for in 2000 and voetsak. You'll end up being paid out for a 2015 top if the range BMX". (Her actual words)

Am in the process of insuring my bikes and getting them evaluated as I type this.

Because of what happened to caps,it made me realize I need to get of my arse and doing something before the unthinkable happens.

Still holding holding thumbs dude.

Thanks bro. It's quite strange how it all happened, really. And yes, you must insure.

It for sure shows that it isn't just small or slightly built riders that are at risk.

Sorry to hear this Dude. Good that you're OK though and hopefully insurance sorts it without any issues.

Do you have a pic of it so in case it shows up anywhere, we know what we're looking for. It may somehow find it's way to other provinces.

EDIT: Seen the details on first post and stolen bikes section. Will keep an eye out...

100% they have no qualms about who or where.
