Front wheel washout

I try to drop the bike. Although most crashes was only very light cornering, once even going straight. Change in surface makes the tyre skid onto its side, bucking the handlebar, and off I go.

Yip, you need to be dropping the bike with weight all on the outside foot and keeping your body over the tyre's contact points with the ground.

But if you're washing out while even going straight, then I don't know what to say!! :)

I have been using Racing Ralph's for years with full confidence when cornering, even in soft sand. And they've got even lower profile knobs than the 'Rons. For reference, my front tyre pressure (tubeless) is normally around 1.8 bar and I'm 86 kg.

Ok nobody wants to say it but a 29er is just not as fast as a 26er on tight single track . Unfortunately you will have to slow down a bit .  :whistling:

BALLS... learn to ride it properly...

Cornering with Fabien Barel:

1) Lean bike, not your body, to gain maximum grip

2) Keep elbow high to steer bike into direction of the turn

3) Lean bike and put pressure on outside pedal

4) Look towards the exit of the turn
