Pikey Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Safer there than riding on the road by yourself for sure. The lone rides whether road or mountain bikes makes me weary at all times. Sbr never feel like that.

Getting stranded there would suck - cellphone reception isn't great! Gator is compulsory! Riding alone there is awesome - super quiet. Allows for some dynamic meditation and introspection ;-)

maidenmole Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Water ran out at Suikerbosrand today. We almost got into trouble having ridden there from Benoni and finished a lap. Managed to buy Coke from vending machine in old Hotel. Â Anyone know if there are ongoing water supply issues since the whole tender saga?

corriekuilder Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Rode there yesterday,luckily could refill at the picnic area,as we started late and it was hot,lol. Its a shame that they are not interested in adding more game and development in the reserve,huge potential....
