I usually use the gate (dunno the name) by coming off the N3 South.. right back over the highway, and then left into the reserve and drive str8 to the carpark0 wonder if that way is open?

This is the one where the Protea Hotel used to be.

Thought we would be asked to pay on the way out. But no! I didnt want to provoke the natives so i didnt ask any questions. I see there is still no water in the toilets though.
goya-goya Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I was lucky enough to be there this morning too. IT WAS FREE! But i wouldn't mind paying R100 to ride there. Men's toilet had water. As always... Take your own toilet paper. I just wish it would get easier
HappyMartin Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Snuck out this morning and did a loop at the reserve. Not one car. Two other cyclists. Saw baboon, hartebees, zebra, wildebeest and a monster herd of eland. Wonderful beautiful morning. And 40 min drive from my house. How amazing.
