The bilharzia was detected and treated 2010. The 2nd at the Vuelta was 2011.

Riding with bilharzia, he placed 83rd in the 2008 Tour and 34th in the 2009 Giro

Froome himself said he was finally free of Bilharzia in Dec 2013.

Bobby Julich worked with froome at Sky before he confessed and was kicked out.. I think it was in 2011.. maybe a different coaching approach contributed as well.

Just pulling your leg... :) Wouldn't be even vaguely surprised, actually.

Go, Peter, future Sky man...

PS: Froome as a person is nothing like Lance as a person

i stopped watching TDF yesterday.....guilty. marginal gains my a #*

True that Froome is much more tolerable than Lance but just because you are a nice guy doesn't mean you are a good guy. Hansie ruined that for most Saffa's.

But I do have to feel a bit sorry for him. Damned if you do...

It may surprise you but in competition use of alcohol is banned. Think more a safety than performance issue though.

Eish, then 94.37% of Sani2C finishers had best hand themselves, and their medals over...
