  • day of the week before Saturday and following Thursday in which the Hubbers go loco
Aka Fight Club Day.

Or referring to any rotational part on the bike as it's "bearing"

Points to BB - "bearings"

Points to headset - "bearings"

Points to hub - "bearings"

Points to own crotch - "bearings"

To "peddle" is not the same as to "pedal"

Selling peddles ( even spell-check picks that one up) is not the same as selling pedals..

People ask for a "jockey" when they want a derailleur.

In their defence, I remember a time when that is what most people called it. LOL

And don't forget about the flywheel rather than crank.!

And how about 16, 18, 20 and 22 speed bikes.

One of the most common convos I have on Saturday mornings in the shop goes something like this.

"I need a new jockey."

"How many gears does the bike have?"

"It's a mountain bike..."
