Best skills clinics in WC?

Recommended Posts

So it seems that Peach isn't going to jump on a plane and head down to the WC any time soon so I was wondering who is great locally for some skills brush ups and technique stretching and downright getting me do it right?

My main areas I'd love to work on are more on the trials area rather than general riding. Obviously getting me to corner harder and faster without eating dirt would be great but I'm happy with my day to day general riding skills for the moment.

I'd rather be working in one on one / small group on getting big clearance hops, using manuals and endos in different situations on the trail, some jumps and working on that tech stuff that you never really spend any time developing when you're out riding trails.

Dan Dobinson. Matt Lombardi. Chris Nixon. Johan Potgieter (when he is in-country).

Any of the top ten Enduro guys, really.

Sorry,

Would you be keen to do something in December?

I know its far away still but I'm sure I could get a week off then and I'm pretty keen to come ride the trails down there.

Dan Dobinson and Chris Nixon are both good.

Dan is taking a group out to Cedarberg for a trail ride/clinic/jol at some point soon - might be worth looking at.

I went to Chris Nixon three times in the 6 weeks before the Epic this year.

The best coach i have been to.....i did also use the other chap who has been receiving a lot of airtime here recently. You cannot even compare...Chris is brilliant !!!

You have to practice what he teaches you every day for 10 mins before you go back to the next lesson.

I love the fact that Chris has NO EGO and the lesson is ALL ABOUT YOU !

I'd give him 10/10 for explaining the ''how'' as well as the ''why''.

Lotsa coaches only focus on the the how.

You wont be sorry, see Chris !

Oh ja, me again ! The manual....takes massive balls (even on flat pedals) to find your sweet spot and try and keep it there !!!

Then you go back to clip in cleats....and your balls shrink when you find the sweet spot.

The hardest ''trick'' to learn after the American bunny hop....

Taken me 6 hours of practice and i can only manual about 2 metres. I'm too scared.

Good luck
