I heard the brand being pronounced as "cottic" as in psychotic, is this correct or is it "coetic" as cosy?

 

Is the origin of the brand perhaps rooted in the founders first name "Cy"?

Solaris owners: what length stem are you using?

 

I've got 70 mm and its feeling way too long (with 740 mm bars).

Thinking to drop back to 50...

710mm bars with a 90mm stem. The bar sits almost right over the front axle. This helps me put a little more weight over the front wheel which allows me more grip on the front.

 

It is a preference thing for me.
