Frosty Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 You need to charge your phone[emoji12] PS.. Phil and co only have eyes for the Brits..CavCummingsMartinYatesFroomeTeam Sky Think you're right.
SwissVan Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 You beat me to it, Scotty.Froome has nothing on a Contador straight right.I dunno looks a bit girly to me... Froomes was far more effective
Frosty Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Besides riders trying to cool themselves down, looks like the heat took it's toll on Kelderman's tubbies too https://twitter.com/cyclingnewsfeed/status/751839430164504576
scotty Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 You beat me to it, Scotty. Froome has nothing on a Contador straight right.I don't blame Contador, but can find no reports that he was sanctioned or fined, however now that its Froome it appears different.
mazambaan Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Aside from le puncheur I think Froome displayed the maturity of a true leader who thinks for himself, out of the box, and can read the race and his opponents, who were probably geared up for a Sky dominance grind to yellow for Froome. I think the move was partially pre-planned after the first KOM dart didn't really get a reaction from Quintana et al. The second could have been confirmed for Froome when Quintana relaxed to collect a bottle at the crest and Froome went; gone. That the seniors in the chasing group like Valverde couldn't put a chase together shows how effective it was and that Froome took a good few risks on the descent.. But it's quite a way to Paris and big day today.
Christie Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Nice finish, interesting race (so far.) Imo all teams of the contenders should have thought about an attack from the likes of Nibali or Conto down to the finish. It looks like Sky had plans in place (chainrings etc), CF saw the opportunity for an attack and it worked.Poor chase by the rest, they rode like a bunch of losers.
Bonus Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 Chris says the attack was spur of the moment. I doubt that's true ;-) I think it was planned some time ago and executed perfectly. Nice move either way. Let's see how today goes :-)
tombeej Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 This little lighty decides he can do it too (yellow jersey and all) https://twitter.com/kidsracing/status/751854526299340800?lang=en

HappyMartin Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I would be all about the feed zone. And the finish. Seriously I should do that for my races. I never have a clue as to what's going on or where I am.
