Grebel Posted May 27, 2019 Share A question regarding the flu vaccine: Clicks sells a flu vaccine on it's own for R70. If you buy it and administer the jab yourself, do you still get the 1000 vitality points or does it need to be done by your GP?
slickjay007 Posted May 27, 2019 Share Just out of interest, has anybody read what the stats are for the Vitality rewards 2019 compared to 2018/2017? I mean it would be interesting to see what the most popular reward on the new points system is and also compared to last year are reward members better or worse off on the new rewards points system? Probably the Cape Union Mart Voucher because it's never available... I reckon the new points system is a huge win both in terms of having more variety as a "winner" and in terms of buy in from users. I think most people were getting a bit tired of smoothies and coffees.... DieselnDust
Frosty Posted May 27, 2019 Share Holding on for another C.U.M. voucher to pop into the R500 option before I cash in, unless I start getting the “expires this week” notification. In that case I may be forced to use the R100 Dis-Chem option. While the options are better than a weekly smoothie, the current options aren’t that great. I currently have a R500 C.U.M. voucher that only expires in October, but a second one would go down better. Grebel

Dirkitech Posted May 27, 2019 Share What image did you need to upload?I'm not sure which one did the trick - at first I uploaded that half A5 size dis chem invoice thing that gets stapled to everything that looks like a box, along with the receipt, then separetely a photo of the box with the sticker on.I'm sorry, unfortunately I'm not sure which one did the trick. My guess would be the first one, since that is a printout of stored computer information.

Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted May 28, 2019 Share Soooo, I called Discovery to cancel my Vitality but was put off by the call centre agent. She mentioned that because Vitality is linked to life policy, don't have Disco Med Aid, that it would impact my life benefits.I do recall there being quite a few Vitality based bonuses, etc.Is this true? It depends, if you have what they call a Vitality Integrator (or something like that) you typically get some sort of cash back every five years, and your premium increases could be linked to your vitality status. Best to have your financial adviser adivse you.

Grebel Posted May 28, 2019 Share Thanks, that's what I thought or recall.Mailed my broker 2 weeks ago with no reply, suppose I will phone him. Or get a new broker... If you have Vitality Integrator then it my be worthwhile jumping through the hoops for the benefits that it brings. There is a cash back option every 5 years that is a percentage of your life premiums based on Vitality status. There are a few other added benefits as well that I can't recall off the top of my head but your broker should be able to lay out the details. Like this year my increase percentage was reduced by 1%. So you will pay a decent chunk more, loose your cash back benefits and loose your increase discounts. Grebel Posted May 29, 2019 Share I have a diamond that expires this week... I have two so I go and look to see what is available and just my luck, the only option is the voucher from Netflorist. My question is, if your points/diamond expires this week, when do you need to spend them by?
