Using family and friends is a poor excuse at best.

Losing weight is simple, but it's hard work. Say no to the mince pies. Don't go for that second portion and don't cave to the pressure of others.

Keep at it, the end result is well worth it

Disclaimer: I'm 1.69m tall and I weighed in at 106kg 2 years ago.

I have lost 2kg since last Sunday - since breaking my hip. Just have hardly any appetite at all with the pain. I cannot recommend it, but I would endorse it if Mr Noakes ever brought out the 'Lie Down, Do F*** All and go slowly crazy' diet. :(

Good luck to all this week!! :)

Thanks, Swiss, Just stupidity, a last minute decision to take a path less travelled. And indirectly, having discovered Strava a few weeks before... and a buddy who has been improving far too quickly :whistling:

Many, many, silly, silly reasons! :)

So i take it nobody is getting the ice cream reward but rather giving a teddy bear to a child in need.

sorry to hear about the hip thor..,that must be painful :(

Thanks, Isetech yes, it is, unfortunately my Hub name has resulted in a case of nominative determinism. :(

Strongs dude. Dad said his replacement was the most pain he had, but after they did the replacement he could walk again.

Keep calm, and let the healing take place. Oh and get something to do... Can drive a man mad with sitting and doing nothing

According to Dr I am incredibly healthy in terms of cholesterol and blood pressure. Just need to drop 10cm off the boep! (that sounds like a lot to me still...)

So there is my overall target going forward
