I agree, very strange from BMC. Personally i wouldn't mind Dennis taking it again. Anything can happen on that hill tomorrow. Bonus seconds might decide the GC.

Yah, I wouldn't mind Dennis taking it either, maybe they will use Porte to control the climb again and hope Dennis can hang in there, he is a mean climber in his own right but I just thought Porte looked stronger.

great lead out from impey today

Impey has been very busy in this race and been working like a Trojan, one could spot him all over the place, also seems to have very good form so early in the season.

 Porte looked stronger.

Porte looks stronger than Sky Porte and Teejay has been slamming down some serious training rides in France. Wednesday in particular. He smoked his 20min test in and around the steep stuff outside Monaco.

Could be a fun year for BMC fans.

Porte is definitely the better climber but I don't think the climb is long enough to do serious damage. I recon Gerro will only lose 30 seconds.

Indeed, stronger and much leaner, seems the change was good for him.

Indeed,Teejay is a great rider, strong team BMC has there.

Between the Teejay and Porte they mmay string enough good days together to contest a grand tour

Very true, and Yah I agree, Gerro can also grit his teeth and hang in there, actually I wouldn't mind a Gerro win either, a very talented rider.

I thought Meintjies was riding? Maybe he is, dont know, but if he is I would have expected to see him on Corkscrew hill, yet he was conspicuously absent.

I think Gerro might hang on for the overall victory. As far as I know Mentjes is there. Haven't seen or heard anything though.

Mine-cheese is there getting mileage under the belt for longer races as a GC specialist.

But Lampré is more betting on Ulissi for results as he is punchier (came 2nd in stage 2)

I haven't really been following much, but one thing I can say is that new lighty from OGE is mighty quick, holy moly!

His got this very small frontal space in terms of aerodynamic gains

And he really kisses the top coat off that front tyre, surely to sizzle his bottom lip one day

With Gerro sure to take the ochre jersey home, OGE is looking really venomous

Ewan won a stage at the Vuelta last year so he is not really unknown

Yip was a stagiare with OGE I think first

Then was gradually drafted in

The Vuelta stage victory was a real breakout win

Sprint kings Kittel and Cav' will be a good test for the neopro
